You are welcome among Friends. Wellesley Friends Meeting is a Meeting (congregation) of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). We gather for Meeting for Worship at 26 Benvenue Street, Wellesley, MA every First Day at 10:30 am. Wellesley Friends come together from many towns in the Greater Boston area. We worship together in a community that welcomes all ages, backgrounds, gender identities and orientations.
We are currently meeting in a hybrid format. Click on the links under the heading First Day Hybrid Worship for information on attending in-person, or for the connection information for attending virtually.

We will hold our next First Day School on Sunday, November 12th. Infant, toddler and elementary aged children are welcome in the Nursery room, second floor, left at the head of the stairs. Our FDS session will last from 10:30 am until 11:20 am. We look forward to spending time with our youngest Friends.
December First Day School - Sunday December 10
What to expect at Meeting for Worship on First Day.
We practice what we call waiting worship - in which we expectantly wait together in silence to become aware of the Spirit's movement within our hearts, teaching and guiding us. Sometimes people are moved to share that inspiration with the whole group as a spoken message.
In person at the Meetinghouse, a Friend at the door will greet you and invite you to take a seat in the Meetinghouse. Online you will be admitted to the virtual worship space, which includes Friends in the Meetinghouse. After an hour, the greeter invites Friends to share joys and sorrows, introduce themselves, and hear general announcements. We gather after worship for coffee and fellowship.
