Friends conduct business by searching for unity in a spirit of worship. Meetings for business take place once a month. As business is raised, there is no debate, but a searching together for the will of God.		A clerk chosen from the Meeting presides over business meetings. It is the clerk’s responsibility to discern the sense of the Meeting and state it in words the Meeting can affirm. This sense of the Meeting is recorded as a minute.
